Flight Awards: Medals will be presented in the competition area as quickly as possible after each flight finishes their competition.
Flights will be in groups of 10 or less. Please tell your athletes to stay with their flight until after flight awards are presented.
Athlete Awards For Those Finishing 1st – 10th: Flight scores
will then be combined to determine the top 10 competitors or athletes that
qualify for finals. The scores will then be posted and the awards will be
presented in the Awards Area. 1st – 5th will receive large trophies and 6th
-10th will receive trophies.
Finals: Finals will be held for all advanced and elite events except Synchro Trampoline. The top 10 individuals qualify for finals.
Team Awards: 1st – 3rd will receive large trophies. Each team
will be charged a $50.00 fee to enter Nationals and will automatically be
entered into all Team Awards they will be eligible for. To be eligible, your
team must have at least 3 girls or 2 boys in the level of the event entered.
Top Team Awards: 1st – 3rd will receive large trophies and
display banners. To be eligible, your team must have a USTA club membership,
and AAU club membership and at least one athlete in EACH level (boy or girl)
of the event entered. To enter a Top Tumbling Team , for example, you must
have a boy or girl entered in beginner, advanced beginner, sub-novice,
novice, intermediate, sub-advanced, and advanced tumbling.
Overall Award: 1st – 3rd will receive large trophies
and display banners. To be eligible, your team must have a USTA Club
membership, an AAU Club membership and have advanced competitors in all
three events, tumbling, trampoline and double mini. Although preliminary
scores are used for the Overall Award, athlete’s points will not be awarded
for their team if the athlete does not participate in the finals unless
there is a documented injury, illness, family emergency, etc.
Awards Presentation:
Athletes must be in competition attire (no warm-ups) to receive their awards
on the awards stand. All awards will be given out in the awards area EXCEPT
FLIGHT AWARDS. Awards must be picked up within 24 hours after the last event
competed or the award will be forfeited.
Photographs/Pictures:
TNT PIX Photography, our National sponsor, will be at Nationals to take and
sell pictures. All athletes are welcome to have their pictures taken on the
awards stand between groups of awards if they wish. A professional
photographer will be available with information.
Credentials: All competitors will be issued badges to enter the Duke Energy Center and the competition floor.
Competition attire: Athletes must be in competition attire
from the beginning of their warm-up through the presentation of their
flight’s awards unless the Superior Judge rules otherwise. Second warning
will result in disqualification.
Flight Assignments: Flight assignments and credentials will be
mailed June 4, 2008.
